Russian opposition chief Alexei Navalny has alleged that Vladimir Putin was behind the poisoning assault that left him combating for his life.
In what his aides name an “assassination try”, Mr Navalny spent 32 days within the hospital and 24 of them in intensive care.
Final week, docs deemed his situation had improved sufficiently for him to be discharged.
In his first interview because the assault, he pointed the finger immediately on the Russian president.
“Putin is behind the crime and I haven’t got some other variations of what occurred,” he instructed Germany’s Der Spiegel journal.
Germany says it has “unequivocal proof” – backed by French and Swedish scientists – that the 44-year-old was poisoned by novichok, a military-grade nerve agent.
