Crystal Díaz grows meals at her bed-and-breakfast, El Pretexto, and brings in substances from totally different native farms.

Inside the pandemic, with fewer firm, Ms. Díaz has further time to farm. As she prunes fruit bushes and weeds beds, she thinks way more about her place in Puerto Rico’s meals sovereignty movement.

“Every day, I concern further about what I positioned on my plate, what variety of miles have traveled to get to my plate, and what which suggests,” she acknowledged.
